
I am definitely a hummus lover, but I am not so much a tahini lover, yes I know it is the second main ingredient!!! I can eat hummus with tahini but if I am making it myself, why would I not substitute it or remove it completely????? So, this it is, My hummus without tahini. Super easy to just add a few tbsp if you are a TAHINI LOVER. If you like garlic sauce Look at the short video below to know how it’s made!!

Servings : 4 cups
Ingredients
1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 to 4 tbsp. water depending on how thick you like it!
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 garlic clove minced
3/4 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp Epis
1 tsp lemon pepper
Salt to taste
Instructions
- Clean the chickpeas in cold water and take off the skins.
- Add the chickpeas, 2 tablespoons of water, the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt to a food processor.
- Process until smooth and creamy.
- If needed, add additional water to thin out the hummus and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to your taste preference.
Store covered in the refrigerator.
